If you live in the GTA doesn't it make sense to live by the lake? I think all of us who decided to live at 80 Port St. E. or 70 or 65 agree with this. The view from our 7th floor terrace of 80 Port as picutred offers a great view as well as a place to socialize or to just relax. Living here is like living at an all-inclusive hotel (except you have to cook for yourself here!) Shopping is easy as the neighborhood offers some great options. Restaurants, coffee shops and pubs abound. But you all know that, as those factors are all part of the reason you chose to live here. Walking around the neighborhood is safe, clean and full of interesting options -- whether you walk through the quaint streets of Port Credit, past the great houses, or decide to stick to the wide and inviting sidewalks that lead along the lake and take you to the pier and Lighthouse. You can take your bicycle along the Lakeside Promenade, which will lead you all the way downtown. If you have a dog, walking in this area is terrific. There is plenty of space for play, lessons or simple sniffing pleasures.
